Nữ Đại vương công Maria Josepha của Áo (Maria Josepha Gabriella Johanna Antonia Anna; 19 tháng 3 năm 1751 - 15 tháng 10 năm 1767). Cô là con gái của Franz I của Thánh chế La Mã và Maria Theresa của Áo. Cô chết vì bệnh đậu mùa ở tuổi 16 và được chôn cất tại Imperial Crypt, Viên, Áo.
Sinh ngày 19 tháng 3 năm 1751, Maria Josepha là con gái thứ chín và con thứ sáu còn sống đến tuổi trưởng thành của Franz I và Maria Theresa.
Sau cái chết của chị dâu là Infanta Isabel của Parma, Maria Josepha là người phụ nữ quan trọng nhất tại tòa sau mẹ cô, cô là dì của Nữ Đại vương công Maria Theresia, con gái còn lại anh trai cô và em gái của Nữ Đại vương công Maria Amalia. Cô mất vị trí đó vào tháng 5 năm 1767 khi anh trai của cô là Công tước Joseph kết hôn với người chị dâu thứ hai, Maria Josepha của Bavaria.
Hoàng hậu Maria Theresia muốn gả con gái lớn thứ tư của mình, Nữ Đại vương công Maria Amalia cho Ferdinand của Naples và Sicily vì lý do chính trị. Tuy nhiên, sau khi cha của Ferdinand, Charles III của Tây Ban Nha phản đối sự chênh lệch tuổi tác của hai người, Maria Josepha, con gái lớn tiếp theo được cho là ứng cử viên thích hợp cho cuộc hôn nhân của Ferdinand.[1] Cô và Ferdinand bằng tuổi nhau, và tốt hơn nữa, Maria Josepha được coi là "rất xinh đẹp và dễ thương" và được anh trai Joseph yêu thích.[1]
Maria Josepha đã sợ hãi cái chết vì bệnh đậu mùa kể từ khi chị gái Maria Johanna mất do bệnh đậu mùa năm 1762. Nỗi sợ hãi của cô trở thành hiện thực khi cô chết vì bệnh đậu mùa vào đúng ngày cô rời Viên tới kết hôn với Ferdinand. Nhiều người tin rằng cô mắc bệnh đậu mùa vì mẹ cô, Maria Theresa khăng khăng rằng cô phải đến cầu nguyện tại ngôi mộ được niêm phong không đúng cách của chị dâu là Hoàng hậu Maria Josepha, vợ thứ hai của Joseph chết do bệnh đậu mùa.[1] Tuy nhiên, phát ban xuất hiện hai ngày sau khi Maria Josepha đến thăm lăng mộ và có thời gian ủ bệnh khoảng một tuần sau khi bị nhiễm trùng ban đầu trước khi các triệu chứng phát ban xuất hiện. Vì vậy, cô chắc chắn đã nhiễm bệnh từ khi đến thăm lăng mộ chị dâu.[2]
Cô được chôn cất trong hầm số 46 tại Lăng mộ hoàng gia tại Viên. Sau khi cô qua đời, em gái cô Maria Karolina của Áo thay thế cô lấy Ferdinando.[3]
