Yevropadagi turklar

Yevropadagi turklar (ba’zan: Yevro-turklar deb ham ataladi; turkcha: Avrupa Türkleri) — Yevropa mamlakatlarida yashovchi turk millatiga mansub aholidir. Ularning aksariyati yoki ota-bobolari XX asrda, asosan ish izlab, Turkiyadan Yevropaga ko‘chib kelgan. Bugungi kunda turklar Yevropaning ko‘plab davlatlarida, xususan Germaniya, Fransiya, Niderlandiya, Avstriya va Belgiya kabi mamlakatlarda istiqomat qiladi.

Odatda “Yevro-turklar” atamasi Markaziy va G‘arbiy Yevropada yashovchi yirik turk diasporalari, shuningdek sobiq Usmonli imperiyasi hududlarida hamda Rossiya va boshqa Yevropadagi postsovet davlatlarida istiqomat qiluvchi turk jamoalarini anglatadi. Atama eng so‘zma-so‘z ma’noda qo‘llanilganda, Turkiyaning Yevropa qismida yashovchi turklar ham “Yevro-turklar” tarkibiga kiritiladi. Yanada keng ma’noda esa, geografik jihatdan Osiyoda joylashgan bo‘lsa-da, Kipr Yevropa Ittifoqiga a’zo bo‘lgani sababli, Kiprda yashovchi kipr turklari ham “Yevro-turklar” atamasi doirasida ko‘rsatib o‘tiladi.
