Tezis
Tezis (qadimgi yunoncha: θέσις, thesis – „qoida“, „isbot“) – 1) keng maʼnoda – bahsda yoki biror nazariyani bayon qilishda aytilgan har qanday fikr; tor maʼnoda – asosiy fikr, prinsip; 2) mantiqda isbot qilishni talab etuvchi fikr, mulohaza.
Tezis – ilmiy maqola yoki konferensiyalar uchun taqdim qilinadigan ilmiy maruzaning qisqa asosiy mazmuni aks ettirilgan ilmiy ish turi boʻlib, uning hajmi annotatsiyadan kattaroq, biroq ilmiy maqoladan kichik boʻladi (taxminan 1 betdan 3-4 betgacha). Tezislar, odatda, nashr va konferensiya talablariga asosida bir necha tillarda beriladi. Uni ilmiy asarga beriladigan tanqidiy baho, tanqidiy talqin aks etgan taqriz bilan chalkashtirmaslik kerak.
