Sijil – 1. Mahkamada hukm, farmon kabi asosiy hujjatlar yoziladigan daftar. 2. Mahkamada hukmnomalar yozilgan qog‘oz; qozi muhri bosilgan hujjat. Koʻplik shakli sijillot. Sijillot – qozixonada qozi tomonidan berilgan vasiqa, hukmnoma kabi hujjatlarning mazmuni yozilib qoldiriladigan maxsus daftar. Sijil koʻproq amaliy ahamiyatga ega boʻlgan uchun bayonnoma, qayd va ro‘yxat, reyestr, arxiv hujjatlarini tuzish haqidagi fan sifatida Shurut ilmi tarkibiga kiradi. Imom at-Tahoviyning toʻrt juzdan iborat asarining biri “as-silijjot” deb ataladi.
