Shankar qishlogʻi Nakodar — Jandiala yoʻlida joylashga. Ushbu qishloqqa eng yaqin temir yoʻl stansiyasi Shankar temir yoʻl stantsiyasi (taxminan 2 km uzoqda). Panjob shtatining eng qadimgi qishloqlaridan biri boʻlgan bu qishloqda koʻplab olimlar, siyosatchilar, armiya ofitserlari, muhandislar, shifokorlar, taniqli oʻqituvchilar va jurnalistlar tugʻilgan.
