Poseydon tomonidan oʻgʻirlab ketilgan va Egey dengizining Saronik koʻrfazidagi orolga olib ketilgan[1]. U Poseydondan Kixreyni[1][2] dunyoga keltirdi, u orolni onasining sharafiga[3] nomlagan.

Baʼzi manbalarda u Zevsdan, Sarakonning onasi[4] deb ataladi.
