Rudizar — 1000 yillik tarixga ega Buxoro viloyatida joylashgan suv taʼminotilardan biri, tarixda „Shahr-rud“, „Shahar arig‘i“, „Shohrud“, „Shoh ariq“, „Zari rud“ nomlari bilan mashhur boʻlgan. Buxoro Rudizar suv taʼminoti Ulug‘bek va Abdulazizxon madrasasi, Toqi Zargaron, Mir Arab madrasasi, Toqi Zargaron, Mir Arab madrasasi, Minorai Kalon va Masjidi Kalon hududlaridan oqib o‘tgan.Rudizar suvi Kalobod hududi tomonidan shaharga kirgan.
