Pilos
Pilos (Pylos) — Messeniya soxili (Peloponnes)dagi qadimgi yunon shahri (miloddan avvalgi XVI—XIII asrlar); hozirgi Pilos shahridan 17 km shimolidagi Ano-Englianos tepaligida joylashgan shahar xarobasi. Miloddan avvalgi 3-ming yillik oxiri — 2-ming yillikda bu yerda manzilgoh boʻlgan. Miloddan avvalgi 16— XIII asrlarda P. mahalliy axey hukmdorlari qarorgohi. P.dan devoriy rasmlar solingan saroy, podshoh maqbaralari qoldiqlari, qad. bitiklar tushirilgan 600 dan ortiq sopol jadvalchalar, nekropol va boshqa topilgan.[1]
