Mezen — Komi Respublikasi va RF Arxangelsk viloyatidagi dare. Uzunligi 966 km, havzasining maydoni 78 ming km². Timan kryaji gʻarbiy yon bagʻridagi botqokliklardan boshlanib, Oq dengizning Mezen qoʻltiqchasiga quyiladi. Yomgʻir, qor suvlaridan toʻyinadi. Oʻrtacha suv sarfi 886 m³/sek. Qishda muzlaydi. Yogʻoch oqiziladi. Quyilish yeridan 371 km (bahorda 650 km) masofada kema qatnaydi. Baliqovlanadi. M. boʻyida Mezen shahri joylashgan.[1]
