Kayfin — Xitoydagi shaqar. Bukj Xitoy tekisligida, Xuanxe daryosining jan. sohili yaqinida. Xenan provinsiyasi tarkibida. Aholisi 700 ming kishidan ziyod (1990-yillar oʻrtalari). Transport yoʻllari tuguni. Mashinasozlik, kimyo, toʻqimachilik (ip gazlama), oziq-ovqat sanoati korxonalari, oliy oʻquv yurtlari bor. Xitoyning qad. shaharlaridan biri; 960—1127 yillarda mamlakat poytaxti boʻlgan. Shahar tarhi toʻrtburchak shaklda boʻlib, 4 darvozali qalʼa devori bilan uralgan. Meʼmoriy yodgorliklaridan saroy (XII asr), shuningdek, Teta pagodasi ("Temir pagoda", 1041) qoldiqlari saqlangan.[1]
