Roman syujeti afsonaviy Atlantidani izlab yoʻlga chiqqan sayohatchilar haqida hikoya qiladi. Ular Jyul Vernning 1870-yilda nashr etilgan Suv ostida 80000 kilometr romanidagi antiqahramon Kapitan Nemo tomonidan asirga olinadi.
