Internatsional - tarixda xalqaro ishchilarning , sotsialistik, kom-munistik partiyalarning uyushmalari. 1-Internatsional (Xalqaro ishchilar shirkati) — proletariatning 1864— 76 y.lardagi birinchi xalqaro tashkiloti. Unga K. Mars va F. Engels Londonda asos solgan; 2-Internatsional — sotsialistik partiyalarning xalqaro birlashmasi. 1889 yilda Engels ishtirokida Parijda tashkil topgan. Birinchi jahon urushi boshlanishi bilan tarqalib ketgan. Shuningdek, Bern I.i (1919-23), "2 U2-I." (Vena I.i, 1921-23) ham boʻlgan. Ulardan 1923 y. Gamburg sh.da Sotsialistik ishchi I.i tashkil topdi (bu I. Ikkinchi jahon urushi boshlangach, oʻz faoliyatini toʻxtatdi); Kom-munistik I. (Komintern, 3-I., 1919 y. Moskvada asos solindi, 1943 y. tarqatib yuborildi); 4-I. (1938 y. Parijda L.D. Trotskiy asos solgan) va b. 1951 y. Frankfurtmaynda Sotsialistik I. (Sotsintern) tashkil topdi. U 103 ta partiya va tashkilotni birlashtiradi.[1]
