Grunt
Grunt (nemischa: Grand - asos, tuproq) — asosan, nurash zonasida joylashgan togʻ jinsi (tuproq bilan birga) qatlami. Grunt qoyali (granit va boshqa), metamorfik (gneys) va baʼzi choʻkindi jinsli (ohaktoshlar, qumtoshlar), yarim qoyali (mergel) va yumshoq boʻlishi mumkin. Yumshoq gruntlar Yer yuzasida keng tarqalgan. Zarralar oʻlchamiga qarab gilli (0,005 mm), changli (0,05—0,005 mm) va qumli (2—0,05 mm) boʻladi. Qurilish amaliyotida bino va inshootlarning tagzamini boʻlgan yoki tuproqli inshootlarni (damba, koʻtarma, toʻgʻon) tiklashda qurilish materiallari sifatida ishlatiladigan turli togʻ jinslari ham grunt deb ataladi[1].
