Burgas — Bolgariyaning sharqidagi shahar. U Qora dengizning Burgas qoʻltigʻi sohilida joylashgan. Burgas viloyatining maʼmuriy markazi. Aholisi 202 mingdan ziyod kishi (2014). Muhim transport yoʻllari tuguni, mamlakatning Varna shahri bilan teng keladigan asosiy portlaridan. Xalqaro aeroport bor. Burgas orqali chetga tamaki, hoʻl meva, meva-sabzavot konservalari chiqariladi. Burgasda neft kimyo, yogʻochni qayta ishlash kombinati, oziq-ovqat sanoati, elektr kabeli, transport mashinasozligi, toʻqimachilik sanoati korxonalari bor. Baliq ovlash markazi. Kurort shahri. Kimyo texnologiya instituti, teatrlar, suratlar galereyasi bor. Shaharga III asrda asos solingan.
