Bufer
Bufer (ingilizcha buffer, byff — zarbani yumshatish) — transport vositalari (lokomotivlar, vagonlar va boshqalar) da paydo boʻladigan zarbalarni yumshatuvchi moslama. Maye, vagonlar orasida hosil boʻladigan boʻylama zarbalarni oʻziga qabul qiladi va yumshatadi. Bunday Bufer vagonning old va orqa tomoniga ikkitadan oʻrnatiladi. Odatda, bufer uchi sferik shaklda boʻladi, pishiq poʻlatdan tayyorlanadi. Avtomobil bufer avtomobil bexosdan biror toʻsiqqa urilganda paydo boʻladigan zarbalarni yumshatadi. Bunday bufer bamper deb ataladi. Rezina yoki plastmassa (ba’zan, poʻlat) dan tayyorlanadi.
