Avelgem — Belgiyaning Gʻarbiy Flandriya provinsiyasida joylashgan munitsipalitetdir . Munitsipalitet tarkibiga Avelgem proper, Bossuit, Kerxove, Outrijve va Vaarmaarde shaharlari kiradi. 2006-yil 1-yanvarda Avelgemning umumiy aholisi 9 457 kishi edi. Umumiy maydoni 21,75 km², bu aholi zichligi har kvadrat kilometrga 435 kishidan toʻgʻri keladi.

Uning „Spikkerelle“ nomli mashhur binosi bor, u yerda odamlar filmlar, teatrlar, koʻrgazmalar tomosha qilishlari mumkin va u yerda ziyofat uchun tashkil etilishi mumkin boʻlgan xona mavjud.
