Сакмарський вік і ярус, сакмарій (рос. сакмарский ярус; англ. Sakmarian; нім. Sakmar) — другий знизу ярус нижнього відділу пермської системи. Найзва походить від річки Сакмара (притока річки Урал). Стратотипом сакмарського ярусу є гора Курмаїн на Південному Уралі.

Виділений геологом В. Е. Руженцевим у 1936 р. Підстилається ассельським і перекривається артинським (яхташським) ярусами.

Поширення

Сакмарський ярус ділиться на тастубський і стерлітамакський горизонти. Відкладення сакмарського ярусу поширені на Східно-Європейській платформі, західному схилі Уралу і в Середній Азії, рідше трапляється в Західній Європі (Карнійські Альпи), в Північній Америці і в Західній Австралії.
