Лауреат Республіканської премії комсомолу Української РСР ім. М. Островського (1966). Заслужений діяч мистецтв УРСР (1978).

Біографія

Народився 19 червня 1928 року в місті Верхньоудинськ, тепер Улан-Уде, Росія. Закінчив режисерський факультет Всесоюзного державного інституту кінематографії (1960, майстерня М. Ромма).

Працював на к/ст «Узбекфільм» і Центральному телебаченні.

З 1963 року — кінорежисер Київської кіностудії імені О. П. Довженка.

Член Національної спілки кінематографістів України. Нагороджений медалями.

На початку жовтня 2008 року провів останній творчий вечір. Помер у 80-річному віці 20 жовтня 2008 року в київській лікарні[1]. Похований на Лісовому кладовищі (ділянка № 4, 50°29′58.89″ пн. ш. 30°37′42.69″ сх. д. / 50.4996917° пн. ш. 30.6285250° сх. д. / 50.4996917; 30.6285250).
