Робоча накидка того, що робить, (чого не роблять:) і що варто зробити
Адміністратор:

  1. Переглядає в першу чергу Кнайпу та ЧАП, оскільки там можуть бути запитання та робочі дискусії користувачів. Особливо це стосується випадку, коли, начебто, нічого змінитися не має, а все ж наявні зміни.
  2. Вносить зміни у такі речі, де простий корисутвач змоги потрапити не має (МедіаВікі)
  3. Робить системну роботу (вилучає дублікати статей, зображень)
  4. Вносить зміни, унаочнення, уточнення, ставить і знімає помітки щодо наявного контенту
  5. Перекладає Довідку, статті, що висвітлюють питання Вікіпедії
  6. Координує роботу
  7. На льоту вносить корективи у неякісні статті: значні, незначні; вилучає і переміщає, як того вимагає наявна ситуація відповідно до правил Вікіпедії
  8. Обслуговує службові сторінки: сиріт, некатегоризованих, розірваних пренаправлень, необхідних статей тощо.
  9. Висуває пропозиції щодо вибраних статей, стежить за голосуванням і вчасним оформленням вибраної статті та її появою на головній сторінці.
  10. Поновлює системну інформацію (Дерева каталогів), стрічку новин
  11. Не забуває про нових користувачів, яким надсилає привітання
  12. Невтомно намагається підтримувати стиль Вікіпедії, як національної так і інтернаціональної, тобто взаємопов'язує статті, проекти
  13. Збирає усі обговорення одного питання в одне, хай і неактуальне, обговорення
  14. Робить так, щоб інші могли замінити його на ролі адміністратора, коли буде потреба і час
  15. Пильнує Шаблон:Поточка. Додає нові запити, вилучає виконані, перевіряє поповнюваність запитів (які були доповнені згідно спсику, — вилучає; додає нові). Те ж стосується Вікіпедія:Запити на нові статті
