Sırp Cumhuriyeti Nişanı

Sırp Cumhuriyeti Nişanı, Sırp Cumhuriyeti Ulusal Meclisi'nin kararı ile 25 Nisan 1993 tarihinde Sırp Cumhuriyeti'nde verilen en yüksek madalyaydı.Sırp Cumhuriyeti'nin Sırp Cumhuriyeti Anayasası tarafından tanımlandığı şekliyle süslemelerden oluşan madalya anayasada geçen "devlete istisnai bir hak kazanmak için bir kişiye veya bir kuruma verilmiş olan Sırp Cumhuriyeti'nin devleti tarafından tanınması üzerine verilir." maddesi üzerine oluşturulmuştur.[1] Sırp Cumhuriyeti Nişanı, yabancı devlet başkanlarına, olağanüstü iş ve liyakat göstermiş önde gelen kişilere ve Sırp Cumhuriyeti'nin kurulmasına önemli katkılarda bulunmuş kişi ve kurumlara verilir.

Görünüm ve dekorasyon

Yasa gereği, Sırp Cumhuriyeti'nin kurulmasına önemli katkıda bulunan kişilere olduğu gibi, özgürlük ve bağımsızlık mücadelesi sırasında, yabancı ülkelerin başkanlarına, en önemli kişilere ve o kişinin esası ve ulusal bilincin güçlendirilmesine katkıda bulunanlara verileceği tanımlanmıştır. Bu nişanın üç unsuru vardır: Nişan amblemi, Nişan kolyesi ve Nişan yıldızı.[2]
