Samsung S5600 (ayrıca Samsung Preston veya Fransa'da Samsung Player Star olarak da bilinir), Samsung tarafından Mart 2009'da duyurulmuş ve Haziran 2009'da piyasaya sürülmüş, Samsung'un dokunmatik ekranlı telefon serisinin bir parçası olarak yayınlanmıştır.[1]

Telefonun 2,8 inç (7,1 cm) (240 x 320 piksel) QVGA tam dokunmatik ekranı, TouchWiz Kullanıcı Arayüzü ve "Gesture Lock" özelliğine sahiptir. 3.2 megapiksel kamera, Shazam'ın "Find Music" hizmeti aracılığıyla müzik tanıma ve H.263, MPEG4 (mp4) ve WMV gibi çoklu kodek desteği bulunmaktadır. İnternet bağlantısı için HSDPA hızı 7.2 Mbit/s'dir.

Dil desteği

Bu telefon, Galce dilini destekleyen ilk telefondu ve öncesinde Samsung şirketi tarafından İrlandaca dilini destekleyen bir telefonun denemesini takip etti. Telefon, bir Galler menüsüne ve 44.000 kelimeyi içeren bir veritabanını kullanan öngörü metni özelliğine sahipti.[2] Telefon sadece 2009 yılında Galler'deki Orange mağazalarında sunulmuştu.[3]
