Planck zamanı

Fizikte Planck zamanı (tP), Planck birimleri olarak bilinen doğal birimler sisteminde zaman birimidir. Işığın bir vakumda bir Planck uzunluğu mesafesini kat ettiği süredir.[1] Birim, onu ilk kullanan Max Planck'ten sonra adlandırılmıştır.

Planck zamanı şöyle ifade edilir:[2]

Fiziksel anlamı

Bir Planck zamanı, ışık hızında hareket eden bir fotonun, bir Planck uzunluğundaki mesafeyi kat edeceği süredir. Teorik olarak bu ölçümü asla mümkün olmayan en küçük süredir[3] ve değeri yaklaşık olarak 10−43 saniyedir. Bugün anlaşılan fizik kanunlarına göre bir Planck zamanından daha küçük süreleri ne ölçebiliriz ne de değişimlerini anlayabiliriz. 2010 Mayıs itibarıyla, kesin olmamakla birlikte doğrudan ölçülen en kısa süre, 12 attosaniyedir (1,2 × 10−17 saniye), yaklaşık 3,7 × 1026 Planck zamanı.[4]

Planck zamanı, boyut analizi olarak bilinen ve ölçü birimleri ile fiziksel sabitleri inceleyen matematiksel fiziğin bir alanında ortaya çıkar. Planck zamanı, G yerçekimi sabiti, c görelilik sabiti ve h kuantum sabitinin eşsiz kombinasyonu sonucu oluşan sabit bir zaman birimidir. Bir Planck zamanından daha küçük bir t süresinde oluşan süreçler için tP / t boyutsuz niceliği birden büyüktür. Boyut analizinde hem kuantum mekaniği hem de kütleçekim etkisi, bu şartlar altında önem arz eder ve bir kuantum kütleçekimi teorisini gerektirir. Tüm bilimsel ve kişisel tecrübeler için milyar kere milyar Planck zamanından daha fazla süre geçmiştir. Planck ölçeğinde meydana gelen bir olayı algılamak zordur.
