NGC 5450, Gökyüzünde Büyük Ayı takımyıldızı yönünde bulunan bir H II bölgesidir. Fırıldak Gökadası içinde yer alır. 18 yay-saniye kuzey batısında başka bir H II bölgesi NGC 5447 bulunur.[1] İngiliz astronom William Parsons tarafından 1851 yılında 182,88 cm (72 inç) çaplı aynalı tip bir teleskopla keşfedilmiştir.[2]
