NGC 4215, Başak takımyıldızı yönünde yaklaşık olarak 94,25 MIy (28,9 Mpc)uzaklıkta bulunan bir merceksi gökadadır. İngiliz astronom William Herschel tarafından 1784 yılında 47,5 cm (18,7 inç) çaplı aynalı tip bir teleskopla keşfedilmiştir.[4]
