Meşveret

Meşveret, Ahmed Rıza’nın 1895'te kurduğu ve Paris'te Fransızca ve Türkçe yayınlanan gazetedir.

Ahmed Rıza gazetedeki yazılarında Meşrutiyet’i ilerleme aracı olarak görmüştür. İttihat ve Terakki’nin yayın organı olan Meşveret 15 günde bir yayınlanıyordu. Meşveret gazetesinin yazılarında dikkati çeken ana unsur, “şikayet”tir. Gazetede, “iyi bir toplum nasıl olmalıdır?” yerine Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun zaaflarından şikayetler görülür. Ahmed Rıza, Osmanlı Devleti'ne karşı çok ağır yazılar yazdığından dolayı Fransız Hükûmeti gazeteyi kapatmıştır.

Paris'te çıkan Meşveret gazetesi bir süre de, daha önce 1895'te Mısır'da Mizan'ı yayınlamış olan Mehmet Murat Bey tarafından yönetilmiştir.[1]
