Kaşıkçı, Şırnak ilinin İdil ilçesine bağlı bir köydür.

Tarihçe

Köyün eski adı, 1928 yılı kayıtlarında Heskal ya da Haskal olup, "hesk" sözcüğü Kürtçe'de "kepçe" anlamına gelmektedir.[4] Daha önceleri Mardin ili İdil ilçesine bağlı olan köy, 1990 yılında yeni kurulan Şırnak ili İdil ilçesine bağlanmıştır.[5]

Coğrafya

Köy, Şırnak il merkezine 125 km, İdil ilçe merkezine 50 km uzaklıktadır.[6] Köy, İdil'in kuzeybatısında olup, 73.54 numaralı Haberli-İdil il yoluna, Haberli'de 17 km.'lik bir köy yoluyla ulaşmaktadır.[7]
