Halile, bir tür vurmalı çalgıdır. Genellikle çift olarak kullanılır ve ince, yuvarlak şekilli olup ve çeşitli ebatlarda üretilir.

Metal alaşımların karışımı ile elde edilen ve çekiç ile dövülerek istenilen inceliğe getirilen tiz sesli bir enstrümandır. Büyüklüğü 11 cm veya 13 cm çaplarında olan iki türü vardır. Halile pek çok orkestrada perküsyonun önemli bir unsuru olarak kullanılır.

Osmanlı mehter müziğinde de dini müziğin bazı çeşitlerinde de kullanılmıştır. Mehter takımındakiler daha büyük çaplıdır. Dini müzikte ise daha küçük çaplı olanları tercih edilir. Birbirine çarpma, kapatma veya sürtme gibi değişik temaslarla ses çıkartarak kullanılır. Tam ortalarına açılmış deliklere deriden yapılmış birer tutamaç takılır. Rtim tutarken tiz ve orta frekanslarda uzun ve kesik sesler çıkarmak mümkündür. Halile çalanlara "halilezen" denir.
