Beni Avf

Beni Avf (Arap: بنو عوف), Muhammed zamanında Arap kabilelerinden biriydi.[1]

Beni Avf, Yahudilerin hükmettiği Tamya'ya yerleşmeyi arzu eden bir Arap kabilesiydi. Yerel halk, Beni Avf'ın buraya yerleşmesi için Yahudiliğe geçmesini şart koştu. Koşulu kabul eden Beni Avf kabilesi buradan Yasrib'e hareket etti.[2]

Medine Sözleşmesinin 30. maddesinde kendileri için Yahudi "bir ulus" ve Müslümanların müttefiği olarak söz edilir.[3][4]
