2 metre bandında dinleme yapan telsiz

2-metre bandı, 144 MHz ile 148 MHz, VHF band aralığını tanımlamaktadır.[1] ITU region 1 bölgesinde 144-146 MHz arasını tanımlamaktadır. 2 metrelik bant en popüler HF olmayan amatör bantlardan biridir.[2]

2-metre bandı için ideal anten boyu yarım dalga anten için ~105 cm; çeyrek dalga anten için ~52 cm'dir. Türkiye'de 2-metre bandında çalışan amatör telsiz rölelerinde 000.600 MHz offset yaygın olarak benimsenmiştir.
