Ang lungsod ay isang klasipikasyon ng mga munisipalidad na ginagamit sa Kanadyanong Lalawigan ng British Columbia. Ang Lieutenant Governor in Council ng British Columbia ay maaaring maginkorporada ng isang pamayanan bilang lungsod sa pamamagitan ng letters patent, sa ilalim ng tagubilin ng Minister of Communities, Sport and Cultural Development, kapag ang populasyon nito ay higit sa 5,000 at ang kinalabasan ng botong kinabibilangan ng mga apektadong residente ay higit sa 50% ang nagbotong sang-ayon sa pinapanukalang inkorporasyon.[1]

May 51 lungsod ang British Columbia.[2]. Ang pinakamalaking lungsod sa lalawigan ay Vancouver na may 603,502 katao, samantala ang Greenwood naman ang pinakamaliit na may 708 katao.[3] Batay sa lawak ng lupain (land area), ang Abbotsford ang pinakamalaking lungsod na may lawak na 375.55 km2 (145.00 mi kuw), habang pinakamaliit naman ang Duncan na may lawak na 2.07 km2 (0.80 mi kuw).[3]

Ang unang pamayanang nainkorporada bilang lungsod ay New Westminster noong Hulyo 16, 1860,[2] habang ang pinakabagong pamayanang nainkorporada bilang lungsod ay West Kelowna, na dating district municipality at itinakdang lungsod noong Hunyo 26, 2015.[4]
