Nutrient agar (NA)เป็นอาหารเลี้ยงเชื้อแบคทีเรียที่ใช้โดยทั่วไปในห้องปฏิบัติการ แบคทีเรียจะเจริญเป็นโคโลนีบนผิวหน้าอาหาร มองเห็นได้ชัดเจน ในอาหารเหลว แบคทีเรียเมื่อเจริญเติบโตจะทำให้อาหารขุ่น โดยทั่วไปประกอบด้วย (w/v):[1]
