Pelastoneurus obtusus[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] är en tvåvingeart som först beskrevs av Van Duzee 1933. Pelastoneurus obtusus ingår i släktet Pelastoneurus och familjen styltflugor.[8][9]

Artens utbredningsområde är Guatemala.[8] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[8]
