Almmolnmott, Rhodophaea formosa, är en fjärilsart som först beskrevs av Adrian Hardy Haworth 1811.[2][3] Almmolnmott ingår i släktet Rhodophaea, och familjen solmott, Pyralidae.[2][3][4] Arten är reproducerande och har livskraftiga (LC) populationer i både Finland[1] och Sverige.[2] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[3]
