Širokoa proteolitička specifičnost, između ostalog dolazi do hidrolize veza -Gly-Leu-, -Met-Leu-, -Phe-Leu-, -Cys-Leu-, Leu-Gly

Smatra se da je ovaj enzim uzročnik dijareje kod životinja i ljudi.
