Бели Хуни

Бели Хуни (под тим су називом средином 4. ст. били познати Прокопију, али и у Индији гдје су их на санскрту називали Хūна или Светахуна = Бели Хуни), називани још и Хефтхалити (према њихову грчком етнониму), за које се претпоставља да су били скупина различита од оне скупине Хуна која је била продрла у Европу. Они су били индоевропски народ, можда источно-иранског номадског порекла, а настањивали су подручје данашње западне Кине, средње Азије, Пакистана и Авганистана. Крајем 5. веку. Бели Хуни нападају источне делове Персије, којим су владали Сасаниди, а можда нешто раније и североисточну границу Индије у данашњем Пакистану. Крајем 6. веку њихов је спомен у писаним изворима све ређи. Последњи краљ Белих Хуна је умро негде око 670. године када је њихова држава уништена. Претпоставља се да су Бели Хуни једни од предака модерних Паштуна.
