Melissa Rauchová (angl. Melissa Ivy Rauch; * 23. jún 1980, Marlboro Township, New Jersey, USA) je americká herečka a komička. Preslávila ju rola Dr. Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz v sitkome stanice CBS, Teória veľkého tresku (The Big Bang Theory).

Skorý život

Rauchová sa narodila v meste Marlboro Township v New Jersey Susan a Davidovi Rauchovcom.[3][4] Má brata Bena. Jej rodina je židovská.[5] Počas štúdia na Marlboro High School ju prvýkrát zaujalo herectvo.[6] Absolvovala Marymount Manhattan College v New Yorku v roku 2002.[7]

Osobný život

Rauchová je vydatá za spisovateľa Winstona Raucha (rod. Beigel), ktorý s ňou spolupracoval na The Miss Education of Jenna Bush a iných projektoch.[8] Rauchová stvárňuje hlas Bernadette, ktorý si prerobila podľa svojich rodičov: „sladký, vysoko posadený“ je po matke, zatiaľ čo „desivá a nahnevaná imitácia“ pani Wolowitovej je po jej otcovi.[9] Obe verzie sú veľmi odlišné od jej skutočného hlasu.[10]
