Igor Vitalievič Presňakov (rus. Игорь Витальевич Пресняков, * 8. mája 1960, Moskva, ZSSR) je ruský gitarista, ktorý svoju kariéru odštartoval v roku 2007 na YouTube, hlavne vďaka svojim virtuóznym interpretáciám verzií známych hitov.

Biografia

Narodil sa v Moskve a vyštudoval klasickú hudbu v blízkej akadémii. Štúdium ukončil v odboroch gitara a dirigent. Presťahoval sa do Holandska, kde žije a pôsobí už viac ako 35 rokov. Jeho unikátny spôsob hry na gitaru je ovplyvnený viacerými štýlmi - Reggae, Rock and Roll, R&B, Country-western, Jazz, ale aj Heavy metal. Počas hry zvykne rytmus a melódiu dotvárať udieraním alebo bubnovaním na telo gitary. Aj keď sa sústredí zväčša na inštrumentálnu hru, občas zaznie aj jeho spev.

Jeho špecialitou je aj hra na sedemstrunnú ruskú gitaru.

Jeho popularita prudko vzrástla po roku 2007, najmä vďaka jeho nahrávkam videoklipov cover-verzií známych skladieb. Mnohé z jeho videí prekračujú hodnoty miliónov pozretí a jeho kanál má viac ako 500 tisíc odberateľov. Je zároveň oficiálnym spolupracovníkom značky gitár Takamine a zosilovacieho gitarového príslušenstva Fender.[1]

Ako zdroj inšpirácie mu slúži široká škála žánrov a interpretov - The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd. Medzi ruskými umelcami sú to Andrej Makarevič, Viktor Coj, Vladimir Vysockij alebo Žana Bičevskaja. Z klasikov sú to Rachmaninov, Čajkovskij, Glinka, Musorgskij a tiež ruská duchovná a folklórna hudba.[1][2]

Okrem hry už skomponovaných skladieb sa venuje aj kompozícii, jeho hudba bola napríklad použitá v predstavení Six Years od Sharra Whitea v Lex Theatre v Hollywoode.

5. apríla 2013 sa v Moskovskom B2 klube uskutočnil jeho prvý koncert v Rusku.
