House of Cards (doslova: Domček z kariet) je politicko-dramatický seriál USA. Predstavuje televíznu adaptáciu minisérie s rovnomenným názvom z produkcie BBC, založenej na románe Michaela Dobbsa.

Dejová línia sa sústreďuje okolo hlavnej postavy Franka Underwooda (Kevin Spacey), člena Snemovne reprezentantov Spojených štátov a straníckeho tajomníka Demokratickej strany, ktorý sa po tom, čo mu bola odopretá funkcia ministra zahraničných vecí, snaží zrealizovať svoj prepracovaný plán, vďaka ktorému sa chce dostať z pozície kongresmana do funkcie viceprezidenta a z nej až na najvýznamnejší post – prezidenta USA, čo sa mu podarí pomocou zákulisných intríg a podpory ambicióznej manželky Claire Underwoodovej (Robin Wrightová). Seriál sa zaoberá tématikou nemilosrdného pragmatizmu, manipulácie verejnou mienkou a mocou.

Seriál distribuuje Netflix. Prvá séria bola vydaná 1. februára 2013. Netflix bol na Slovensku spustený 6. januára 2016, kedy boli slovenskému publiku sprístupnené prvé tri série.

30. októbra 2017 potom, čo Kevina Spaceyho obvinili zo sexuálneho napadnutia bolo oznámené, že šiesta séria bude zároveň aj posledná.[1] O deň neskôr bolo oznámené, že výroba šiestej série bude pozastavená do neurčita.[2] 3. novembra 2017 bol Spacey prepustený zo seriálu.[3] 4. decembra 2017 bolo oznámené, že posledná šiesta séria bude mať 8 častí a Spacey v nej nebude hrať. Posledná séria vyšla 2. novembra 2018.[4][5][6]
