"You Needed Me" is a 1978 song by Canadian singer Anne Murray and was taken from her 14th studio album Let's Keep It That Way. It went to number 1 in the United States and Canada, number 22 in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, number 2 in Australia, number 7 in Ireland, number 6 in New Zealand and number 5 in South Africa. It won a Grammy Award in 1979. It was covered by Boyzone in 1999 and went to number 1 in the United Kingdom and New Zealand and number 2 in Ireland.
