Yoshimi Ōsawa (大澤慶巳, Ōsawa Yoshimi, March 6, 1926 – October 21, 2022) was a Japanesejudo player.[1] He is one of only two living Kodokan 10th dan.[1][2] He was born in Sakura, Chiba. He defeated the 1948 champion Yasuichi Matsumoto to win the Fukuoka tournament in November 1948.
He wrote the book Kodokan Judo: A Guide to Proficiency.[3] Osawa was the head instructor at Waseda University.[4]
Osawa died on 21 October 2022 from pneumonia at the age of 96.[5]
