World Conference of Life and Work

The World Conference of Life and Work (Swedish: Stora ekumeniska mötet) was an ecumenic conference. It was held on the initiative of Church of Sweden archbishop Nathan Söderblom in the town of Stockholm in Sweden in 1925. It was held to discuss social cooperation.[1] Most major Christian denominations attended the meeting. Some exceptions were the Roman Catholic Church and the Pentecostal movement.[2]
