Wing is a small town in Burleigh County, North Dakota, United States. It is part of the Bismarck, ND Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 2020, the population of Wing was 132.[3] The town has a post office, a gas station with service, a bar, a restaurant, a small apartment complex, an assisted living home, a hotel, several churches, and a complete public school system.

History

Wing was founded in 1911. It was named after Charles K. Wing. He was the one who platted the city's area.[5]

Geography

Wing is at the coordinates of 47°8′27″N 100°16′50″W / 47.14083°N 100.28056°W / 47.14083; -100.28056 (47.140938, -100.280626).[6] The city is 0.64 square miles (1.66 km2) of land.[1]
