William John Keating (March 30, 1927 – May 20, 2020) was an American businessman and politician of the Republican Party. From 1967-70, he served on the Cincinnati City Council.[1]

Keating served in the United States House of Representatives from 1971-74, representing Ohio's 1st congressional district. Keating resigned from Congress to become President and CEO of The Cincinnati Enquirer.[2]

Keating was a founding member of the law firm Keating, Muething and Klekamp.

Keating died on May 20, 2020 in Cincinnati at the age of 93.[3]
