"We Belong Together" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her album The Emancipation of Mimi. The song is available in several versions. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 14 weeks. With the song, Carey holds the record for having the longest-running and second-longest running songs at #1 in the US (her song "One Sweet Day" with Boyz II Men stayed on top for 16 weeks).
It was also No.1 in Australia and the Netherlands.[1] It was the best-selling song in the US of 2005 and later became Billboard's Song of the Decade for the 2000s (2000–09). It won two Grammy Awards.
