Wayne County is a county in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 6,497,^[1] making it the sixth-least populous county in Iowa. The county seat is Corydon.^[2] Wayne County was founded in 1846 and named after General Anthony Wayne.^[3]
