Walter Junior Jones (born January 19, 1974) is an American football former professional offensive tackle. He played twelve seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played his entire career for the Seattle Seahawks.
He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the sixth overall pick in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft, a pick obtained from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a trade. Jones left Florida State University prior to his senior season after being selected to the second team College Football All-America Team. On April 29, 2010, He announced on his Twitter account that he was retiring.[2]
On February 1, 2014, Jones was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.[3]
