User talk:Example
This is not a real user talk page. It is to be used when you don't want to mention an exact user's talk page and would be used in places such as templates.
en:User:Enterprisey/reply-link works on simplewiki apparently
Let's see if it works. Can I Log In (talk) 04:13, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
- Nope. Doesn't work. Can I Log In (talk) 04:13, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
- u is so hard to do it for you and your own responsibility to be in touch ~2026-12768-47 (talk) 22:44, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
Hello, Example, you have created an article that may not meet notability standards to include in Wikipedia. That is okay, and does not mean anything bad about you or your work. However, if you want to publish your article, you may be interested in posting on EverybodyWiki, which allows articles about anything. Thank you! Lights and freedom (talk) 20:17, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, I just wanted to remind you that Example is not a real user. You knew that, right? Cuddle453 (talk) (talk) 16:30, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Umm, Lights and freedom is banned @TwilightSparkleCuddleBear453. Ely - Talk 16:32, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Banned how? What happens when you ban someone? Cuddle453 (talk) (talk) 16:35, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- @TwilightSparkleCuddleBear453 Jargon for blocked indefinitely. An actual ban treats the user as an LTA and prohibits them from creating new accounts to edit any wikimedia project. Ely - Talk 17:54, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
- Banned how? What happens when you ban someone? Cuddle453 (talk) (talk) 16:35, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. Cuddle453 (talk) (talk) 12:06, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- @TwilightSparkleCuddleBear453 and Elytrian: Lights and freedom is not banned, by the way, he is check user-blocked.
- There are also different types of bans. A community ban bans someone from contributing to that community, so if someone is banned from contributing to simplewiki, they are still allowed to contribute to enwiki. There are global bans and WMF-bans that ban people from contributing to any Wikimedia project. And people are not treated as LTAs just because they are banned on a Wikimedia project. --Ferien (talk) 13:13, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Ferien I am talking about the second variant of a true "ban". Ely - Talk 13:29, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
- Well @Lights and freedom is not banned @Lights and freedom is blocked indefinitely however @Ferien is right there is different types of bans but I think @Lights and freedom is blocked indefinitely because he was sockpuppeting. Yahoot🚢ツ7 (talk) 14:46, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
