Tremolite

Tremolite is a amphibole silicate mineral. The fibrous form is one of the most dangerous types of asbestos, and is often found as a contaminant in other mineral products such as talc and vermiculite.
Incidents
Tremolite has been involved in several product recalls and lawsuits:
- A lawsuit was filed involving contaminated baby powder made by Johnson and Johnson.[1]
- Tremolite sometimes occurs as a contaminant in vermiculite[2]
- In 2019, a Jojo Siwa makeup kit was recalled after it tested positive for tremolite[3]
