The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a 2019 American 3D computer animated comedy movie produced by Illumination, directed by Chris Renaud. It was written by Brian Lynch.

It is the sequel to The Secret Life of Pets (2016).

The movie stars Patton Oswalt (who replaces Louis C.K.), Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Lake Bell, Nick Kroll, Dana Carvey, Ellie Kemper, Chris Renaud, Tara Strong, Michael Beattie, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, and Harrison Ford.

The movie was theatrically released in the United States on June 7, 2019, by Universal Pictures. The movie received mixed reviews from critics.
