The Queen is a 2006 biographical drama movie that shows the events of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales on 31 August 1997 and how it affected Queen Elizabeth II.

The movie was directed by Stephen Frears, written by Peter Morgan, and starred Helen Mirren in the title role of Queen Elizabeth II.[3] The movie had strong positive movie reviews. It has a 97% fresh rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes[4]
